History Thru The Lens
Welcome to my blog site!
My interests in history and photography come together in this photoblog. Featured in this blog are historical pictures such as the above photo of the RMS Olympic and her sister ship the RMS Titanic, which would prove to be the last one of them together side by side. Hopefully all who visit will enjoy it and recommend the site to their friends.

A 54 Year Mystery
On April 3, 1961, a Douglas DC3 similar to the one pictured, mysteriously disappeared in the Andes Mountains. Of the 24 people on board, 8 were members of Chile's Green Cross soccer team on their way home from a road game. With the wreck's recent discovery by a group of mountaineers, this 54 year aviation mystery has been solved.
