My interests in history and photography come together in this photoblog. Featured in this blog are historical pictures such as the above photo of the RMS Olympic and her sister ship the RMS Titanic, which would prove to be the last one of them together side by side. The Palace of Fine Arts was built originally as a temporary structure for San Francisco's Pam Pacific International Exhibition of 1915. It was made permanent in the 1930's, and remains a huge tourist attraction to this day.
